One of the most effective ways to draw attention to your sign, and enhance the visual communication is through an additional lighting source. Some of the different methods used by Manchester Sign Co. include:
Traditional lightboxes - A very popular choice for many years, these signs have an aluminium casing with acrylic panels, used to be internall lit with fluorescent tubes but mostly now with LEDs.
Flex face lightboxes - Relative newcomer and mainly use for larger signs. Most illuminated retail park signage will be of this type, the one piece PVC face means there are no panel joints and an even illumination.
Trough lights - If you want an externally illuminated option, or planning regulations dictate, a trough light mounted above the sign will be the preffered choice. With the use of LEDs, these are now slimmer and less obtrusive than the older type.
Illuminated 3D or Channel letters - These are usually acrylic or sometimes metal with acrylic faces. 3D letters give a real depth and feel to your signs and when fitted internally with LEDs look spectacular at night.
