In July 2015, XPO Logistics Inc. purchased French based logistics company Norbert Dentressangle for $3.24 billion. The resulting company has an annual revenue of around US$9.2 billion and employs over 52,000 people in 27 countries.
As an approved supplier for Norbert Dentressangle since their acquisition and subsequent rebrand of TDG in 2011, Manchester Sign Co. were chosen to carry out full site rebrands at over 130 locations throughout the UK. The timescale for this, comprising of surveys, artwork creation, manufacture and installation was 5 months.
The wide array of different types and sizes of signs included post signs, flex face signs, tray signs and banners. Many of the warehouse signs were co-branded with household names including Birds Eye, Sainsburys, M&S, and ASDA, this meant various corporate brands had to be closely followed and blended sympathetically with the XPO Logistics identity.
The successful completion of the rebrand in January 2016 demonstrated our ability to deliver a large programme of works in a short time frame. Our relationship with XPO Logistics continues to grow as further work and projects are undertaken.
